Title: Collegiate Swim Coach and Competitive Swimmer
I am a philosophy professor, collegiate swim coach, competitive athlete, vegan, and human/animal/environmental rights advocate. I am currently Associate Professor in the Philosophy and Religious Studies department at Chaffey College in Southern California. I teach courses in ethics and religion and have had the opportunity to lecture on various topics in the areas of human rights, environmental ethics, animal rights/welfare, and social responsibility at numerous colleges, universities, and other social institutions. I take our ethical obligations to the earth and all of its inhabitants very seriously and believe that it is possible to lead a fun, dynamic, and even competitive lifestyle without greatly contributing to the pandemic of suffering and environmental degradation that plagues our planet.
Although I love my work, it tends to constrain my training and diet regimens. I train before and after work and fit in my six meals where and when I can. Towards this effort, Vega has been an invaluable asset. In my ten years of training (and dieting) without animal products, there is no other product line that can compete with Vega. The Whole Food Meal Replacement is simply the best on the market. I use it both as a general meal replacement for 1-2 meals a day and often as a post-workout shake. I have noticed an improvement in my strength and endurance gains while supplementing with Vega. I have introduced numerous athletes, students, and friends to Vega and have seen amazing results in their development as well. I look forward to a continual partnership with Vega.
